Nazi Zombie 2

Ah yes,two evil things that are even eviler when smashed together as one. The Nazi Zombie. Here is my second illustration in homage to that great combo. When you blow off a zombies' head sometimes you might feel that little bit of remorse knowing that it was just some poor bastard who got himself infected. And if you are one of those people it kinda takes the fun out of re-killing. Not so in the case of blasting a Nazi-Zombie. You can take solace in the fact that you are ridding the world of two different but equally evil scourges. Ahhhh....nothin' like guilt free killin'!

Grave Side Manner

Hey Zombie Freaks! As I attempted to do the last time Zombie Daily was in full swing,I will try to do again, and that is supply as many black and white images as I do color. Also, I really want to try to use more experimental materials this time around just to keep it fresh and exiting. Having said that,I have a very special treat for every zombie fan out there this coming Monday, that, and a new podcast,so please stop by and check it out. In the meantime, enjoy this corpse that has risen from the grave.

C.H.U.D. - Like Zomb-Bobble

Hey fans of the living dead. Today I bring you another Zomb-bobble head. I just saw C.H.U.D. recently and shortly after drew up this little number. Again,I think that the likeness was kind of by accident if there even is a likeness at all. I find that this guy kind of does remind me of those cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers, which I always thought were similar to zombies. People wold get infected, turn into one and eat other humans. Also, they were very hard to kill. anyway, it's probably my obsession with trying to group more monsters in the "Zombie " catagory. Enjoy!

The Nazi Zombie 1

Hey Zombie fans! This image is one of two that I have created in honor of the "Nazi Zombie" movie cycle. films such as Shockwaves and Dead Snow etc.... As of this post I still haven't seen the latter, believe it or not! That will hopefully be remedied as soon as I have some free time. I've heard that it's pretty good, but simply haven't had the chance to see it...don't tell anyone.... In any case,I hope that you all enjoy this post and feel free to give me your impressions of "Dead Snow" in the comments section.

Grave Hag

Hey living dead fans! Todays' image is kind of experimental for me but I really like the way it turned out. Awhile back I ran out of my usual watercolor paper so I had to rush out and buy something else. I ended up buying a pad of some brand I had never heard of and ended up not really liking it until I used it for just some black and white pen and ink sketches. It turned out to be the best sketchpad I have ever used. This image was just the next step. I threw some light washes on it and presto!some really great shadows emerged. The name of this watercolor paper escapes me at the moment but I'll get for anyone interested and put it in a future post. Enjoy!

Zombie Daily Post From the Past

Hey zombie freaks,Rob Sacchetto here, and as promised,I'm posting a favorite image from the past. This living dead critter was originally posted on April 30th 2008! Man,that was a long time and many zombie drawings ago. I really love this guy because, without really trying I ended up making him look like something from the "Return of the Living Dead" movie, kind of like the "Tarman",creepy but comical. 'Hope you enjoyed this blast from the Zombie Daily past.

New Moon Zombie Harvest

Hey all of you lovers of the living dead! Welcome again to Zombie Daily! Here is one of a series of really detailed black and white zombie images that I couldn't wait to get started on after completing Zombiewood. The contrast and detail that I'm able to do with these really appeals to me. Plus I can do them pretty quick as there is no paint drying time to worry about. Which do you like better, the black and white images or the color ones? Let me know. More to come tomorrow.

Atomic Zombie Trouble

How are zombies created? That is an age old question with many different answers. Some think that zombies are created by a virus made by the government. Some think that zombie outbreaks are a result of biblical prophesy. Everything from angry souls returning to dead flesh to carry out vengeance,to toxic chemical spills reanimating corpses has been used to explain the occurence of the living dead. Here's one I've always loved, the heavily mutated by nuclear radiation zombie.

Luke Handwalker Zombobble

Ok,one more bobble before we get into some even weirder territory. Incidentally,we just hooked up a webcam recently and will be doing some video casting pretty soon. I'll finally be able to show you all the real sizes of the actual Zombie Daily images and some of the materials I use. Stay tuned!

Biker Zombie-Bobble

Here is another bobble head zombie for your desktop! I started doodling a couple of these kind of big headed cartoony zombies and just couldn't stop. Before I knew it I had done about twenty five to thirty of them. These guys happened right after I finished the Zombiewood book and I guess I needed to do a bunch of crazy creative things after having done so many celebrity zombie portraits. I'll post at least one or two a week in the coming months. Let me know which one is your favorite!

Dear Little Zombie Girl

Hey Zombie fans,Rob Sacchetto here with another new post in third resurrection of Zombie Daily. Here's my most recent attempt at doing a drawing without ink lines. I do have a way to go in perfecting this type of illustration, but I do really like how it turned out. I think that with that style, the subject matter, and the fact that it is black and white with only one other colour,(red,of course)it ends up looking quite macabre. Let me know what you think.

Black and White Zombie Daily Portrait

Hey Zombie lovers! Here's an example of both an illustration similar to the black and white images in the new Zombiewood book and a potential new service that we want to offer on Zombie Portraits. It's the super detailed black and white Living Dead portrait! Let us know what you think.
