Happy Halloween !! One Mo' Zombie Clown

Yes it's Halloween, and the great thing about this blog is that I don't have to do one thing different to celebrate this sacred day! Hope you had a great day and please enjoy this quick sketch of yet another zombie clown. I don't think I'll ever get tired of drawing these bastards of the zombie world!

Same Guy - Different Zombie

Well the title pretty much says it all. Here is Paul as more of a bio-hazard type zombie with oozing pustules and large boils adorning his withered flesh. It's almost like an advanced version of yesterdays zombiefication. That's why I love drawing the living dead, there are so many ways to interpret them. See you all tomorrow!

New Zombie Snapshot

Hey Zombie fans! Here is an example of how even using the same person for a Zombie Snapshot gets altogether different results. Here is a illustration of my friend Paul as a zombie done from one photo. Tune in tomorrow to see the same guy but as an entirely different type of living dead creature.

Carrier

Hey Zombiefans! Well with all of the renewed hysteria about the H1N1 virus,I thought that I'd post an image that may suggest an alternate theory on how the zombie virus could be spread. And so,I give you the Zombie Virus Carrying Mosquito! Just imagine the ramifications of this theory. Basically the human race would be doomed! There would almost be nowhere safe enough to elude the zombie onslaught! Oh well, just a thought.....

Body By Zombflex

Hey Zombie lovers! Rob here showing you just what would happen if a zombie worked out. It would pretty much have the opposite of the desired effect, what with the rotting of joints and atrophy of muscles and such. On a related note, check out Tattoofinder.com for a whole mess of new tats by yours truly! The link is right there to your right. It's not just zombies either. There are all sorts of monsters, demonic women and even animals to choose from! See you tomorrow!

New Zombie Snapshot

Rob Sacchetto here with another in the Zombie Snapshot series. Sometimes I like to add things to my interpretation of zombies visually, and in this illustration I gave the zombie a lot of boils festering on his head. I find that more boils give a walking corpse a kind of bio-hazard kind of look, almost like they were created by some kind of toxic chemical spill. Like that dude from Robocop at the end. That was some quick mutatin'.

Zombie Blood

Hey there Zombiefans! It's been a busy week. Between working on a new book and fulfilling my duties for Zombie Portraits,I'm working non stop. But I still manage some time to do some Zombie Daily images for you to enjoy. This image is another that I used to further experiment with a different style, using line to suggest tones in some places, and really thick lines to accentuate form. basically, this is more of a colored drawing than it is a painting. 'Hope you like it.

Zombie Walk Hard

Alright Zombie fans, one more black and white image "till tomorrows post. I really like this image because it really retains my honest style-the inking style that I'm the most comfortable with. It's kind of half way between comic book inking and illustrative styles and I think that is where I'm at visually in my head. Often times, when I do a Zombie Portrait, I'm very careful not to be influenced too heavily by comic book art conventions as they are sometimes confusing visually to people who are unfamiliar with them,so I tend to stick with the more straight ahead illustration approach to convey the visuals. Of course on Zombie Daily anything goes so I can get away with doing all sorts of drawing styles. 'Till tomorrow...

New Zombie Snapshot

Greetings zombie friends,Rob here again to reveal another great zombie moment captured in time. I figured after the wrestlers of the living dead color portraits, that I'd return with a few black and white images that I love so much. The zombie snapshots allow me to do some nice quick detailed drawings with a very simple creepy background that just seems to fit. They are like simplified versions of my Zombie Portrait work. 'Hope you like 'em.

GPZ

Hey all you zombie maniacs out there in Zomibland! Rob Sacchetto here with some more zombie animal madness! as requested some time ago,I give you,the zombie guinea pig! As usual I had a great time doing this image as it was not an animal I would ever have thought of drawing on my own. All the while I was drawing it though,I had a little story in my head where a little girl tries to tell her father that her pet guinea pig has come back. Her father tries to explain to her that it isn't possible, but she insists, and when he goes to her room to investigate he is attacked by the zombie rodent! Hey,sometimes playing out a little scenario in your head is a great way to effectively execute an otherwise difficult drawing.'Till next time!

Kurt Angle Zombie

And last but not least....Hey everyone out there in Zombieland! This is the last of the living dead TNA super stars of wrestling! I really hope that you enjoyed this series as I certainly did illustrating them. I really enjoy doing small themed groupings of zombie drawings that can be put together to create one lager body of work,it kind of makes smaller drawings mean a lot more because they are part of a greater whole. If any of you zombie freaks out there have any ideas for a series of any kind please let me know and I will definitely consider bringing it to Zombie Daily.com. See you all tomorrow with new and exiting zombie art!!

Samoa Joe Zombie

Hey Zombie fans,Rob here with more living dead mayhem from the TNA ring! By the way,I do enjoy the odd WWE wrestling program as well but I find it a little too family friendly for my tastes. The TNA promo reminds me of the good ol' days of wrestling and they're not shy about getting bloody. Tune in tomorrow for the last of the living dead superstars of TNA!!

Jeff Jarett THE TNA founder!

And here is the homage to the founder of TNA! Jeff Jarett is the man! And my pleasure to pay a tribute in my own special way!

"Big Zombie" Kevin Nash

With his size and strength 'Nash would be an intimidating zombie indeed! I think that I'm just really fascinated by giant zombies, which is why I love the idea of zombie animals like bears elephants and giraffes and such. Seeing a giant human as a zombie would be just as freaky!

The Mick Foley Zombie

Hey everyone out there in Zombieland,Rob Sacchetto here again with another wrestling superstar!! Foley is one of those wrestlers that pretty much transcends any one wrestling promotion or company. of course he is now with TNA but he has become such an icon in the"sport" that he can go pretty much anywhere, and, having spilled more blood than any other wrestler in the business,he was kind of a natural for me to zombify. Have a nice day!!

Booker Z

Respeeeeect!!! And of course brains,is what Booker Z really wants! Hey everyone out there in Zombieland!Rob Sacchetto here again to bring you more TNA super stars of the living dead. I have to say that this whole idea came to me in a dream one night. I actually dreamt that we were watching a wrestling match in which the wrestlers were biting and ripping the flesh off of each other, and while I couldn't believe what I was seeing, everyone else in the room thought that it was normal and were kind of weirded out that I was making such a big deal about it. Dreams ya gotta love 'em. Tune in tomorrow for more!

Big Poppa Zombie

As you can imagine, the chain mail cowl took, like, forever to do,but this image of Scott Steiner was a lot of fun to illustrate. Hope you all enjoy it and tune in tomorrow for more TNA superstar action!

Oh, and click on Podcast pickle to listen to tonight's podcast!

New Zombie Snapshot

Hey Zombie friends! Today I bring you another zombie snapshot. Once again,I hope to one day stick all of these drawings together to create one huge zombie onslaught image,I think that would look really cool. Also to all of my Canadian brothers and sisters,I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving!! See you tomorrow!!

Rotten Runway

Hey everyone out there in Zombieland!! Rob here again, bringing you another homage to the silly curiosity known as the fashion industry. Incidentally,we just saw Zombieland yesterday! What an awesome movie! The opening credits alone were better than some other zombie movies altogether! Even though it may have seemed to be a small part of a much larger post apocalypse-type zombie story,it is,hands down the best zombie movie I've seen in years! 'Till tomorrow.

More Unfamous Monsters

Hey Zombie friends! Just when I thought that I had posted the last Unfamous Monster drawing I noticed one lurking within a forgotten file! Well, that's usually where you'd expect to find evil lurking anyway so I really wasn't too surprised. Unless another turns up from somewhere or someplace I think that this will be the last one from that series, although I do plan on revisiting this style again sometime in the future, and hopefully in color like the "Patrick" one that I posted earlier. See y'all tommorah. Oh and don't forget to check out Woke Up Dead !!!

Zombies Go Las Vegas

Hello all of my Zombieland peeps! Lotsa cool happenings this month and this is one o' them. This is some artwork for a poster done for a 'Vegas zombie walk happening this month on the 24th. It was a lot of fun using colors that I'm not quite used to using to create this ultra pop-like image. Also, for fans of Jon (Napoleon Dynamite)Heder and zombies, today my Zombie Portrait art and an interview can be seen on the Woke Up Dead site by Crackle-Check it out!!

The Slanty Dead

Hey there everyone in Zombieland!! Rob Sacchetto here! Well, when I did the artwork for The Zombie Handbook,I ended up getting a lot of my friends to pose as zombies for the illustrations so we took many photos in which to work from. Obviously I couldn't use them all,but I thought that the poses were so great and that everyone involved went to such great lengths to get the poses down,I couldn't not use the ones left over. So,many of them will now be presented as illustrations on Zombie Daily for your viewing. Enjoy!!

Bearded Ghoul

Hey everyone in Zombieland! Today's image was a really quick rendering done while doing a phone interview. I ended up giving it a very fast ink wash for a background making it resemble the Unfamous Monster series that I had done awhile back. Even though this, and some other images are quick sketches,I often tend to revisit them in the future to complete or to use as reference for other drawings. I also like to post them so that people can see images in their early working stages.
