Unfamous Monsters : Bud
Hey everyone,Rob here! I think that this is the last of the Unfamous Monsters zombie series,but I may end up doing some more in the future. They were a lot of fun to draw and,as I've metnioned in other postings and probably even podcasts,they are loosely based upon the "Famous Monsters" magazine cover paintings of Basil Gogos. This particular one is slightly different from the others in that it was rendered in pen instead of pencil. Enjoy!

This is a really nice pen piece. Do you mind if I ask; do you use any references for your work?
Yes I do actually,Quite a bit.Not for this piece in particular but for,I'd say about %30-%40 of the Zombie Daily stuff I use some reference. Often times in the posting, I will cite where the reference comes from. Like in some cases it may be an old photograph while other times it may be something I see in a fashion magazine.
